RAPID HEALTH

Many patients are aware of and have utilised Rapid Health, our new system designed to help patients book and manage their appointments quickly and efficiently.

In order to use this new system, patients must have their email address registered with us. If you do not think your email address is on record, please contact the practice. We have and continue to receive positive feedback from patients following the implementation of Rapid Health.

We are pleased to announce that due to the success of this system, we will be increasing the amount of appointments that can be accessed in this manner.

However, this does not mean we have not taken into consideration those who are not technologically literate. Our hope is that with more able patients utilising rapid health, our elderly population will have a much more streamlined process of contacting the practice via telephone. In addition, Rapid Health can be used by a designated individual on a patient’s behalf, as long as they are aware of the correct email address on the record.

Please note that the Accurx system is still in place, however this is for routine, non-urgent appointment and enquiries only. Therefore, you will receive a response through Accurx within 48-72 hours (excluding weekends and bank holidays).

If you feel the matter is of greater urgency, please either contact the practice directly by telephone, or depending on severity of symptoms, NHS111 or 999.

PRESCRIPTIONS

We would like to remind patients that we cannot guarantee prescriptions requested the same day will also be issued the same day. Please bear this in mind when requesting prescriptions, particularly in regard to travelling.

These are spread across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland and are open at different times and days throughout the week. You can find out more, along with a list of cafes at the following website: https://www.leicspart.nhs.uk/service/neighbourhood-mh-cafes/

PLEASE REMEMBER

We are here to help you! All that we ask is that our patients are reasonable and respectful in the demands that they make of us.
