Travel Health

Do you need vaccinations?

Our nurses can provide travel health advice and arrange for appropriate immunisations. Please arrange an appointment for a travel consultation at least 6-8 weeks before departure if possible. Vaccines need time to take effect and some may require a course over several weeks.

Travel Vaccination Prices

Travel advice is covered by the NHS; however some vaccinations and prescriptions (such as Malaria tablets) are only available privately. We will inform you which vaccinations carry a private charge following completion of a travel assessment form. Payment for non-NHS services must be made at the first travel appointment.

TRAVEL VACCINATION NOTICE - TYPHOID

There is currently a national shortage of Typhoid Vaccinations for travel. We do not have any in stock at Kingsway and are unable to order more due to the shortage.

Other Providers may have some remaining stock from previous orders, however you may have to pay privately.

In addition, while we do have some HepA vaccinations in stock at Kingsway, there is limited availabilty.

We are currently monitoring the situation and will advise once Tyhpoid Vaccinations are able to recommence.
